CRIME STOPPERS CASE #1536
FOR THE WEEK OF SEPT. 13, 2015
DEPARTMENT CASE NUMBER: 15C059257
LEAD DETECTIVE: DET. SUPANCIC, WICHITA POLICE DEPT.

A man placed an ad on Craigslist to sell his Lenova Yoga Pro 2 laptop computer. An unknown man called about the ad, and they made arrangements to meet in the 1200 block of South Todd at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6. The buyer asked the seller to meet him outside to show him the computer. The seller got into the buyer’s car and handed him the computer. Instead of examining it, the buyer took it and then sped away driving south on Todd Street. The seller grabbed onto his car and was dragged approximately 50 feet before falling to the ground. He sustained injuries to the right side of his body. A home surveillance camera captured a photo of the suspect vehicle.
The driver is a white man with short, blonde hair, approximately 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and khaki shorts and driving a four-door white car.
