About 11 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2016, officers were sent to the 2300 block of North Lamson to investigate a shooting. At the scene they learned that the residence was occupied by two adults and two juveniles. An adult male inside the home sustained two minor gunshot wounds. He was treated at a local hospital for his injuries, and later released. Officers located multiple shell casings in the street, and the residence was struck approximately 16 times by gunfire. Witnesses report hearing voices outside and a vehicle speeding away after the shots were fired.
