DEPARTMENT CASE NUMBER: 16C2206

Just after 1 a.m. on April 1, 2016, a man parked at a business next to the Barber Kings barbershop, 520 W. 29th St. N. He was captured on video loitering next to his car for several minutes. You may be able to judge his height based on the height of his car. The car’s top hits the bottom of his shoulder blades when he leans back as a car passes by. He then walks to the barbershop, breaks in and steals the clippers used by the three barbers who work there. After several minutes he returns to the car and puts a bag containing the stolen items on the back seat. The loss is valued more than $1,000. The suspect left driving east on 29th Street. The video was taken at the neighboring business. It has footage from several angles, showing the suspect, his vehicle and actions.
