Employees at Mclean Elementary School reported a burglary that occurred sometime between 7:44 and 8:35 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9. The reported loss was several thousand dollars’ worth of computer equipment, cameras and electronics. Surveillance footage shows a white man wearing a light-colored trench coat, blue jeans and blue stocking cap and a black backpack. He wandering around the school, and possibly looking in the windows. At one point he was riding a bicycle, and he may have made several trips to and from the building. Additional information indicates the suspect may have been seen in the area around midnight prior to the burglary, and around to 5 p.m. the day of the burglary.
