Crime Stoppers and the Wichita Police Department are asking for the public's help to solve several cold case homicides. Today we are seeking information on a homicide that occurred Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. Timothy McGuigan was suppose to have breakfast with his son that morning, but never arrived; he didn't show up for work either. Worried co-workers called his son and asked him to check on his father. The son went to his father's house in the 2500 block of North Woodridge and found him dead. When police arrived they discovered that McGuigan had been shot multiple times with a small caliber handgun. There was no sign of forced entry, and robbery does not appear to be the motive.

If you have information about this homicide or any felony crime, call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
