RIME STOPPERS CASE No. 1145

On Monday, Oct. 17, the Wichita/Hutchinson Labor Federation at 3219 W. Central was burglarized. The suspect or suspects forced their way into the building and took electronics and checks. On Wednesday, Oct.19, a white male attempted to cash a forged check stolen in the burglary.

The Wichita Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect. He is of average height and build, mid 30s, balding, with a full beard. He was possibly driving a late model Toyota Camry with a sunroof.

Shortly after midnight on Friday, Oct., 14, 2011 three suspects waited outside the Golden Corral Restaurant at 616 S. Ridge Rd. As two employees left the restaurant, three men with handguns forced them back inside. The men were able to get money out of the safe before leaving on foot. They were last seen running east from the restaurant. Although no vehicles were seen, they may have fled in a white SUV.

The three suspects were black males in their mid-20s. Both suspects were between 5-feet-11-inches and six-feet tall, had thin builds and were carrying black handguns. One was wearing a white jacket. The other suspect was wearing red pants.

The third suspect was between 5-feet-1-inch and 5-feet-6-inches tall, had a stocky build, was wearing khaki pants and was carrying a silver handgun.

RIME STOPPERS CASE No. 1143

  On Tuesday, August 2, 2011 a man driving a white and brown older model Ford flatbed truck was able to make his way into the back compound of The Yard store at 725 E. Central. While in the back lot the suspect loaded 3 blocks of aluminum valued at over $5,000.00 dollars. A second suspect that assisted the first has been taken into custody. Now police need help identifying the main suspect.

  The suspect at large is described as a white male in his 40s with a medium build, of average height, and wearing glasses. The suspect vehicle is an older two toned Ford flatbed truck with wooden rails. The tag is possibly a Kansas Antique tag. Photos of the suspect and the truck are attached.

On Saturday, September 30 at 9:30 A.M. three black males entered the EZ Payday Advance business at 3750 N. Woodlawn. The suspects were armed with silver handguns, and told the cashier to give them the money. After getting the money from the cashier the suspects unsuccessfully tried to open the safe. No one was injured.

All three suspects were black males, wearing white hoodies and white bandannas over their face.

Doller General Robbery At 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, two men entered the Dollar General Store at 2747 W. Pawnee. One pulled out a knife and ordered the cashier to open the registers. The other held another employee on the ground while the first suspect took the money. There were no injuries.

Suspect number one is described as a black male, about five-feet-four-inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds, and wearing a red shirt with Nebraska on the front, red pants, a black Red Sox cap, black shoes and a black bandanna over his face. Suspect number two is described as a black male, about five-feet-seven-inches tall, weighing about 145 pounds, and wearing a black shirt, white shorts and a red bandanna over his face. A surveillance camera photo of the two robbers is provided.
