The pharmacist gave him drugs, and he was last seen heading north on foot. Police believe the same man robbed the Walgreens at 1625 S. Webb on Nov. 14.

On Sunday, March 3, shortly after midnight, two teens were walking down the street near the intersection of 12th and Green. A maroon, four door Buick pulled up beside them and several teens got out of the vehicle. They confronted the teens walking, then one pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired one shot. As a man and his two-year old god-daughter were pulling into a family member's driveway in the 6800 block of West Par on Tuesday, Jan. 28, around 7 p.m. The driver heard a loud bang and saw flashes from a gun. He grabbed the toddler and ran into the house. When officers arrived they found several bullet holes in his vehicle. There were no injuries.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, a burglar broke into three nearby residences, including a house in the 3800 block of 103rd St. South. He forced entry into each of the houses through a door and removed guns, electronics, jewelry and cash. Total loss and damage is estimated at $7,000.

Shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, two people burglarized Target at 301 S. Towne East Dr. They broke out the front glass doors and went directly to the electronics section. The pair broke into display cases taking iPods, iPads, digital cameras and laptop computers. They left through the rear fire doors. Loss was estimated at several thousand dollars.

About 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, a man approached a woman getting into her vehicle in a parking lot in the 1600 block of S. Broadway. He had a black handgun and tried to force his way into her vehicle. She was able to push him away, and he ran from the lot.

The suspect is an Hispanic male, early 20s, approximately 5-foot-7 with an average build. He was wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a gray and black hoodie.

On Wednesday, January 9, a sculpture was found vandalized at Heritage Square Park located at 115 E. William in downtown Wichita. The sculpture is a life size depiction of a female that sits on a base of a fountain at the park. The statue was found lying on the ground and broken in half. The amount of cost to repair the “Heritage Woman” is unknown at this time.

On Thursday, Dec. 27, two men entered the Subway at 2424 S. West. They placed an order. When another customer entered the store, one man pulled out a black handgun and demanded money from both the customer and the employee at the register. The suspects fled in a black Pontiac G-6.

The man with the gun is a white male, mid 20s, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-4 and about 220 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, blue jeans and a black cotton zip-up jacket. The other man, also white, was 20 to 25 years old
