The Dollar General at 2020 E. 21st was robbed first on Sunday, Feb. 10, and again on Friday, Feb.15. Both armed robberies occurred around 10 p.m. The robber took cash; there were no injuries. The robberies were possibly committed by the same person.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans, and carrying a black revolver.

About 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, a man entered Carson Bank in downtown Mulvane. He softly walked up to the teller and whispered, “ a robbery.” He didn't show a weapon, but he passed a note demanding a specific amount of money in specific denominations. The robber was seen driving away in a 1980s Chevy S-10 pickup truck with faded paint, red/white/red stripes along the side, an extended cab, a long bed and stock wheels.

He is a white male, 45 to 55 years old, 5-foot-8 and 145 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray cap, dark sunglasses, reddish turtleneck and an orange sleeveless vest (possibly reversible) with a gray sweat shirt underneath.

Upon further investigation it is believed that this suspect may also have robbed a Haysville bank on Nov. 20, 2012.

As a man and his two-year old god-daughter were pulling into a family member's driveway in the 6800 block of West Par on Tuesday, Jan. 28, around 7 p.m. The driver heard a loud bang and saw flashes from a gun. He grabbed the toddler and ran into the house. When officers arrived they found several bullet holes in his vehicle. There were no injuries.

The suspects, both Hispanic men, were driving a '90s model white Pontiac Firebird or Chevrolet Camaro.

RIME STOPPERS CASE No. 1305
Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, a burglar broke into three nearby residences, including a house in the 3800 block of 103rd St. South. He forced entry into each of the houses through a door and removed guns, electronics, jewelry and cash. Total loss and damage is estimated at $7,000.

A home surveillance system captured images of the suspect as he cased one of the residences. He is described as a black male, around 5-foot-9, average build, short hair and a goatee. He was wearing a leather jacket, black ball cap, blue jeans, plaid shirt, glasses and an earring in his left ear.
