Between 11:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, someone cut the catalytic converter off a 1992 Toyota 4-Runner while it was parked at the Sedgwick County Zoo. As scrap metal crimes and thefts continue to increase in public areas, law enforcement asks citizens to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity.

Just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, a man rode a bike to the Target store at 301 S. Towne East Mall Dr. He broke the glass on the store's front door and walked directly to the electronics section. There he broke the glass on a display case and took three digital cameras. He left on the bicycle. Loss is valued at $1,800.
