How Crime Stoppers Works
Submit_Tip

If you have information about any felony crime or fugitive in Wichita or Sedgwick County, call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111 (toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS) and you could be eligible for a cash reward.  No one will ask your name and we do not take your phone number or have caller ID or call return.  You will be given a code number for identification.  You will need to follow up on your tip with the Coordinator during daytime hours.  If your information leads to an arrest, the Coordinator will advise the Board of Directors, who will vote on the amount of the reward.  When you call back, you will be notified of a location to pick up your cash without anybody knowing who you are.  IMPORTANT:  When calling Crime Stoppers, do not use a cordless phone or cell phone.  These are not secure lines and people with scanners could hear your call.

You may also send your tip on-line by clicking on the Submit-A-Tip icon above.  This link redirects you to a site that is not affiliated with any law enforcement organization.  You will fill out a form with your tip information, supply a password for checking on the status of your tip, and the information is emailed to the Crime Stoppers Coordinator.  In order to guard your identity, any Internet addressing related to your location is removed from the tip information email sent to Crime Stoppers.  You can check the status of your tip by logging in to www.tipsubmit.com using the password you supplied.
